Music on Main – Downtown Denison
Every Friday night in June and July, Downtown Denison comes alive with Music on Main, a free concert series featuring live music, local vendors, and a great community atmosphere.
Music begins at 7:30 p.m., and vendors start setting up around 6:00 p.m., making it a perfect excuse to spend an evening exploring downtown Denison. Grab dinner from a local restaurant, support a few hometown businesses, and enjoy some live music under the summer sky.

Lights on the Lake – Sherman
Sherman’s annual Lights on the Lake celebration returns on July 2 at Pecan Grove West Park, and this year’s event is going all out for America’s 250th birthday.
The park opens at 4:00 p.m. with food vendors, activities, and entertainment throughout the evening. Rock band Collective Soul is scheduled to take the stage around 7:30 p.m., followed by one of Texoma’s largest fireworks displays at 9:30 p.m.
Bring your lawn chairs, gather some friends, and enjoy a fun evening celebrating Independence Day.

Shake at the Lake – Kingston
Lake Texoma’s annual Shake at the Lake celebration takes place on July 3 at the Oklahoma State Park in Kingston.
The event features food trucks, vendors, family activities, and a fireworks show over beautiful Lake Texoma. If you’re looking for a classic summer lake experience, this is a great option just a short drive from RiverView.

Fourth of July Spectacular – Denison Celebrates America250
Denison’s Fourth of July Spectacular takes place on July 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Forest Park.
This community celebration is part of the nationwide America250 festivities and promises an evening of family fun, entertainment, food, and fireworks. It’s a great opportunity to celebrate Independence Day with friends and family while enjoying one of the area’s biggest holiday events.

Stars & Stripes Showdown – Willow Springs Marina
Car enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Stars & Stripes Showdown at Willow Springs Marina in Mead, Oklahoma on July 4.
Hosted by Ridin’ So-Low Car Club, the event features custom cars and trucks, music, cruising, contests, and plenty of patriotic fun. Whether you’re bringing a show vehicle or just stopping by to admire the builds, it promises to be a unique Fourth of July weekend event on Lake Texoma.

Who says Christmas only comes once a year?
On July 25, Downtown Denison will host Stars, Stripes & Santa, a Christmas in July celebration honoring America’s 250th birthday.
Visitors can explore downtown shops, restaurants, and boutiques while participating in a community bingo game for a chance to win a Downtown Denison shopping spree. Expect patriotic decorations, Christmas-themed fun, and special promotions throughout downtown.
