Pet Policy

This pet policy constitutes an addendum to the campground agreement and violation of any of its terms by the registered guest or their visitors constitutes a material breach of the agreement and, in the discretion of RiverView RV Park and its management or employees, may result in ejectment of the guest from the campground.

  1. Each registered guest may have a maximum of two (2) pets per campsite, and each pet must weigh under 20 pounds. Exceptions may be considered on an individual basis and must be approved by management prior to arrival.
  2. Aggressive dogs are not permitted. RiverView RV Park reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether a dog's behavior or breed poses a risk.
  3. All pets must be registered with the office, including breed and name information, before being allowed on-site.
  4. Visitors are not permitted to bring pets into the campground at any time.
  5. Monthly guests must provide proof of current pet vaccinations, including rabies. Short-term guests must provide proof upon request. Vaccinations must remain current throughout the stay. Failure to provide valid documentation will result in denial of stay without refund.

Pet Behavior and Control

  1. Guests are responsible for immediate cleanup and disposal of all solid pet waste. Waste must be bagged and disposed of in the trash at your site.
  2. All pets, including cats, must be leashed at all times on campground property. Leashes must not exceed six (6) feet in length. Dogs may only be off-leash within the designated dog park (across from sites 65–71). Radio collars and voice control are not considered acceptable leashing methods.
  3. Aggressive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated. If management determines a pet has acted aggressively, that pet must be immediately removed from the premises.
  4. Nuisance barking (excessive or continuous barking) is not allowed anywhere in the campground. Anti-barking collars or deterrent devices are recommended.
  5. Pets, including cats, may not be left outside unattended. Dog pens, tethers, and outdoor feeding or watering are prohibited.
  6. If a pet will be left unattended inside the camper, the guest must provide a contact phone number to the campground office.

DOG PARK

  1. Dogs must never be left unattended in any off-leash area. Owners must maintain both view and voice control of their pets at all times.
  2. Leashed dogs are not allowed in off-leash areas when other dogs are present.
  3. No human food or dog treats may be brought into the dog park.
  4. Glass containers are strictly prohibited.
  5. Digging or destructive behavior is not allowed. Owners must immediately stop and refill any holes their pets create.
  6. Guests must clean up and dispose of pet waste immediately in the trash can.
  7. All posted dog park rules must be followed at all times.

Violations of any dog park rules or pet policies may result in immediate removal of the animal and/or the guest from RiverView RV Park.

Liability

RiverView RV Park, its management, and employees are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or loss involving pets. Guests are solely responsible for ensuring their pet's safety, including securing pets when entering or exiting the dog park gate.
