Pet Policy

This pet policy constitutes an addendum to the campground agreement and violation of any of its terms by the registered guest or their visitors constitutes a material breach of the agreement and, in the discretion of RiverView RV Park and its management or employees, may result in ejectment of the guest from the campground.

  • You, as a registered guest, may have a maximum of 2 pets registered per campsite, and the pets must be under 20 pounds. We may make exceptions on an individual basis. Please contact us with any questions or for clarification.
  • Aggressive dogs are not permitted, and it will be at the sole discretion of RiverView RV Park and its management or employees. The breed of the dog(s) and their names must be submitted to the office, or they will not be allowed on site. Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets to the campground at any time.
  • You must provide proof of all pets' vaccination records upon request. Current vaccination records must be good through the length of your stay and must include a valid rabies vaccination as mandated by Oklahoma law. FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROPER DOCUMENTATION WILL PROHIBIT YOU FROM STAYING AT THE CAMPGROUND WITHOUT REFUND.
  • Guests are responsible for the cleanup and disposal of solid pet waste immediately; that includes within the designated dog park.
  • Pets, including cats, must always be on a leash no longer than six foot on the campground property. Dogs may be unleashed in the designated dog park located across from sites 65-71. Radio collars or voice control are not considered "leashed".
  • Aggressive behavior by pets is not permitted anywhere on the premises. Aggressive behavior will be defined at the sole discretion of RiverView RV Park and its management or employees. Upon notification by RiverView RV Park and its management or employees that the pet has been aggressive and is no longer allowed in the campground, the animal will be removed immediately.
  • Nuisance barking is not allowed in any area of the campground. Excessive/continuous barking is not allowed. Anti-Barking collars or devices are recommended. Pets, including cats, are not permitted to be left outside, unattended by guests. Dog pens and tethers are not allowed. All feeding and watering must be done inside your camper.
  • If pets are to be left unattended in a camper, a contact number must be left with the
    campground office.

DOG PARK

  • Use of the dog park is a privilege that can be revoked at the sole discretion of RiverView RV Park and its management or employees if they determine the posted rules have been violated.
  • Canine guests may never be left unattended in any off-leash area. You must be within view and voice control of your dog(s) at all times.
  • Leashed dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas with other dogs.
  • No human food or dog treats are allowed in the dog park while other dogs are also in the park.
    Glass containers are always prohibited in the dog park.
  • Digging or destructive behavior by animals is prohibited. If your pet dogs, please stop them and refill holes accordingly.
  • Guests are responsible for the cleanup and disposal of solid pet waste immediately.
  • Please observe and follow all dog park rules as posted.
  • Any violation of these provisions, determined at the sole discretion of RiverView RV Park and its management or employees, may result in the immediate removal of the animal from the campground. Failure to remove pets from property will result in the ejection of park guests.
  • RiverView RV Park and its management or employees are not responsible for accidents of any kind or the loss of a pet. It is the sole responsibility of the guest to make sure their pet is secure when the gate is being opened or closed.
